Josh Lederhandler is the Senior Director of Operations at Higher Digital, providing leadership for change management and consulting client engagements while driving continuous operational growth across the organization. Through strategic partnerships, exceptional customer experiences, and business process improvement, Lederhandler continues to grow Higher Digital’s (SEA)change™ methodology and (SEA)results® prioritization tooling for customer success. Lederhandler was previously a Senior Engagement Manager for Higher Digital.
A seasoned veteran of the Higher Education industry, Lederhandler has spent the past 20 years helping institutions around the globe improve student success with technology and strategic change. He is a user-focused product leader who’s spearheaded product initiatives for thousands of users, with a wide array of expertise leading and building Higher Education software solutions. Lederhandler has presented at many conferences and seminars, on topics spread across the higher education lifecycle and various aspects of student success.
Prior to joining Higher Digital, Lederhandler was a Product Manager at Ellucian, leading product strategy, execution and go to market for core infrastructure, security, and technical aspects of the Banner ecosystem. In his decade with Ellucian, Lederhandler also served as Product Owner, Software Development Manager, Project Manager, Scrum Master, and Business Analyst. Lederhandler’s depth of experience spanned the Financial Aid, Admissions, Human Resources, Advancement and Technical arenas.
Before joining Ellucian, Lederhandler worked for Nova Southeastern University overseeing the Banner Financial Aid system, managing the product maintenance and application of all modules, preceded by several years as a Financial Aid Counselor.
Lederhandler has a B.A. from Florida Atlantic University and Master’s in Public Administration from Nova Southeastern University, as well as being a certified Product Owner (CSPO) and Scrum Master (CSM).
