Southern New Hampshire University case study, first page

Southern New Hampshire University, one of the fastest growing universities in the nation, needed to integrate the components of a newly modernized, cloud-based IT stack and better align IT with executive leadership. SNHU selected Higher Digital to lead the effort, resulting in SNHU’s Enterprise Service Bus: the university’s own platform of shared services.

Higher Digital served as API architect, designing and deploying a fully integrated ecosystem of cloud services that connects SNHU’s CRM, learning management, and other platforms. The integrations became shared services the university has been able to productize.

SNHU also adopted Higher Digital’s Simplified Enterprise Agile™ framework, (SEA)change™. Within 90 days, two scrum teams were in place and a monthly planning rhythm connected development, QA, operations, and university leadership around shared priorities.

“The results we have seen from working with Higher Digital have been nothing short of excellent. We’re experiencing a growth in capacity month-over-month. We have the same amount of people, so they’re able to be more productive, and our integration efforts have resulted in a set of shared services that we’ve been able to productize.”

Toby Carroll, Director of Development and Integration, SNHU
