The (SEA)RESULTS Distance Education Effectiveness Assessment is a partnership between DEAC, a national accreditor of distance education institutions, and Higher Digital. Our assessment provides colleges and universities with a quick and cost-effective evaluation of your online programs as well as a customized plan for improvement, helping you bring high-quality distance education to your students of today and tomorrow.
Measures how clearly and fairly you communicate the costs and requirements of the institutions education programs to prospective students.
Measures how well you understand and prioritize your institution's mission and strategic plans as well as your ability to communicate it across the institution.
Measures whether the academic policies and procedures support your institutional mission, to effectively meet student, faculty, and staff needs.
Measures the maturity of your education technology ecosystem, including system efficiency, effectiveness, and interface between faculty and students.
Regardless of the size or complexity of your institution and/or technology, the first step is to understand (1) how you're doing based on an expert view, and (2) how you benchmark against other institutions. The Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) is a private, non-profit organization that operates as a national accreditor of institutionsthat primarily offer distance education. Founded in 1926, the DEAC holds recognition by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Accreditation by DEAC covers all distance education activities within an institution and it provides a single source of nationally recognized accreditation from the primary school level through professional doctoral degree-granting institutions.
